On Saturday, March 29, the European Union Center will host a trilogue simulation moderated by Kristijan Ležaić (Seconded National Expert, European Commission's Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport). In the EU context, a trilogue is an informal interinstitutional negotiation bringing together representatives of the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union, and the European Commission to reach a provisional agreement on a legislative proposal.
Six students — each assigned to represent one of the three EU institutions — will negotiate a draft directive on corporate sustainability due diligence. Students who do not wish to participate but are interested in observing are very welcome to attend. The simulation will take about three hours.
