Humans are visual creatures. A growing body of research shows that people rely heavily on visual information to process, learn, and make decisions. As social media becomes a primary channel through which corporations and public institutions communicate with their audiences, the need for intentional visual strategy has never been greater. This talk examines how vivid elements and visual modalities are strategically deployed on social media, a mechanism that remains underexplored in strategic communication scholarship. Drawing on empirical studies spanning digital branding and health promotion, the research investigates how visual cues shape stakeholder engagement, message credibility, belief formation, and behavioral intentions. This project offers actionable insights for practitioners aiming to strengthen campaign effectiveness and advances a comprehensive framework for understanding multimodal strategic communication in today’s digital environment.
