Our Quant Researchers joining us for the event are:
- Yucheng obtained his MS degree in computer science at UIUC in 2019, and he currently works as a quantitative software engineer at Two Sigma. His day-to-day work includes research and development of cutting-edge machine learning algorithms with financial data. Please join him in discussing how you can apply your academic background in the industry and what the path looks like through internship to a full-time job at Two Sigma.
- Michael graduated from Cornell in 2017 with a PhD in Operations Research and Information Engineering and currently works as a modeler at Two Sigma. His day-to-day work is developing trading strategies, from idea generation and data collection to analysis and model creation. Please join him this Wednesday in discussing how you can apply your academic background to industry, how to prepare for transitioning to the private sector, and what to expect during the application and interview process.
