  HR Series: Fostering a Culture of Respect I: Understanding and Responding to Discrimination, Harassment, and Sexual Misconduct (IHR)

  Through this training, participants will understand the basic tenets of discrimination and harassment laws and policies. They will gain an understanding of Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act, Title IX of the Education Amendments, and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act, including new updates in the law.

  Microaggressions Workshop: Creating Inclusive Spaces on Campus with Ross Wantland of OVCDEI

  Learn how microaggressions are everyday slights, rudeness, or insults that communicate subtle (and not so subtle) messages of bias and disrespect. This workshop includes an insightful discussion on microaggressions and their relationship to climate, cooperation and belonging. In addition, participants will practice strategies for responding to microaggressions at work.

  Campus Fire Extinguisher Training (F&S)

  The trainers from F&S will be holding their popular fire extinguisher training for the entire campus. If you'd like to attend this training, please register in advance as space is limited. The training will include hands-on practice with fire extinguishers and a fire simulator.
