  Spurlock Sundays

  Spurlock Sundays happen on the second Sunday of the month and include family-friendly activities such as crafts and hands-on time with cultural artifacts. This Sunday, we will make kites, taking inspiration from Mohan Tracy's 'Waiting to Fly,' an art installation featured in the Great ARTdoors program 2021. Her installation is viewable now at Crystal Lake Park in Urbana.

  On February 13, from 1:00-3:30 PM, join members of the Spurlock Museum staff for a Be My Valentine celebration. Want to create a memorable and unique card for that special someone? We’ve got the materials in the Collaboration and Community Gallery. Want to hear some timeless love stories? Join our storyteller, Kim Sanford, at 2 PM in the Ancient Mediterranean Gallery.
