College of Media Events

Join Media faculty as they discuss their recent trip with students to Accra, Ghana, to film a documentary about the lives of young female head porters who have migrated from Ghana’s rural north to work in Accra’s urban markets.

College of Media students are invited to this Well-Being Open House.

The 2026 Skornia Symposium will feature a panel of academic and industry experts who will explore how public media can best engage with audience research to identify and meet community needs, strengthen audience relationships, and innovate content in ways that honor public media’s mission.
