    2026 SURF preselection applications due for Illinois undergrads

    Up to seven of Mayo Clinic’s prestigious fellowships are reserved for Illinois sophomores and juniors who are seriously considering a biomedical research career as a PhD or MD-PhD. This special preselection process allows University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign students to submit their SURF application to a selection committee of Illinois faculty and staff.
