The Career Center is hosting a seminar on job markets in Latin America. Are you interested in the job markets in Latin America? Panelists who experienced the job market in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, or Mexico are invited. Information on job search resources, visas, and workplace cultures will be shared. There will be a Q&A session along with a networking time. This event is hosted by The Career Center and co-hosted by Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, La Casa Cultural Latina, Lemann Institute for Brazilian Studies ,and FACES (an RSO focused on international career development). This event is designed to celebrate the International Week (April 9-15th) and the Latino Month (April) at Illinois.  
Time: April 12th, 2017, from 4-6pm
Venue: The Career Center Interview Suite, Room 213
(616 E. Green Street, Champaign – head to the 2nd floor of the KAPLAN building by McDonald’s)

  • Dernando Gonzalez (Accounting Manager at Archer Daniels Midland Company with auditing experiences in Brazil)
  • Guillermo Leo Dankert (MS student in Civil Engineering with structural engineering experiences in Argentina)
  • Maria (Lupita) Gomez-Lang (Ph.D student in Curriculum and Instruction with safety and environmental coordinator experiences in Mexico) 
  • Sebastian Paik (Senior in Agribusiness with for-profit and governmental internship experiences in Chile)
