Join us at Midwest Equine for a deep dive—literally!—into the equine intestine to really understand the parasites that afflict horses.

Do tapeworms really cause colic?

How many parasites can actually live in there?

Dr. Denny French has been an equine veterinarian and educator for more than four decades. He will show you the actual tissues and areas where internal parasites live. Learn about the normal anatomy of the large intestine and see the ileal-cecal junction, the cecum, and the ventral colons.

After Dr. French’s presentation, you’ll meet our new doctors at Midwest Equine: Dr. Catherine Foreman-Hesterberg and Dr. B. Alex Lognion.

Light refreshments will be provided.
