These awards seek to honor unsung members of the University of Illinois campus and community who have sought to address marginalization, oppression, and/or privilege in their communities.

Our program includes a keynote address by Kellie Rae Blanden, Assistant Director of Educational Outreach & Professional Development at Illinois Public Media/WILL-TV Radio, and performances from INNER VOICES Social Issues Theatre and composer-performer Joy Yang.
Hors d'oeuvres will be available before and throughout the event.

University Parking Lots are free after 5pm. The closest to the University YMCA are C9 (corner of Sixth & Chalmers) and C5 (on Sixth, directly south of the Speech & Hearing Sciences Building and across the street from the Psychology Building).
