Japan House events

Japan House is honored to announce the visit of Noboru Fujinuma, a Living National Treasure of Japan. Mr. Fujinuma is a renowned contemporary basket artist in Japan. He will present a public talk on his artwork Wednesday, October 25 at 5:30 pm at Japan House. The talk will be followed by a tea ceremony performed by Professor Emeritus Shozo Sato. The presentation is free and open to the public. No tickets are required, but seating will be limited.

His work has been the subject of several exhibitions, and in fact, Mr. Fujinuma will be in the U.S. at this time because of an exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
