Genome Day is an opportunity for the community to learn about genomes, genes, DNA, and evolution at the Orpheum Children's Science Museum in Champaign. Although primarily for children in grades K-4, all members of the community will be welcome. Exhibits and activities will be designed to present the energy use and production, environment, health, and fundamental research at the Institute for Genomic Biology in an approachable manner for all ages. Admission to the event and museum will be free. Activities will run continuously in an open house format, so feel free to attend anytime between 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
SACNAS está colaborando con IGB para proporcionar presentadores voluntarios hispanoparlantes en de todas las actividades del Día del genoma.
