Scalar (http://scalar.usc.edu) is a dynamic cloud-based platform that allows users to build interactive, multi-media exhibits and publications. This workshop will introduce you the basics of building a Scalar 'book': You will learn how to upload text, images, and videos into Scalar; build pages in Scalar; connect Scalar paths to create a Scalar book; and generate visualizations in Scalar.  All levels of experience are welcome!
