The workshop will feature four award-winning instructors at the University.  They will each offer brief presentations on their teaching philosophies, what they do to make their classrooms work, and strategies they have found are not as successful. After the presentations, we will open to a guided panel discussion featuring several questions from Ken Bain's book, "What the Best College Teachers Do."  This workshop counts for CTE Certificate credit.

Our four presenters are:

Geoff Herman, Engineering

Brian Quick, Communication

Kirk Sanders, Philosophy and Classics

Eric Snodgrass, Atmospheric Sciences
