The importance of healing your inner child has weighed heavily on me during my time as an undergraduate. Throughout this time I have allowed all of my reflections of my Black girlhood, as well as the Black girlhoods I have been lucky to be apart of in some way, influence how I move through the world and any actions I take in social justice activism. I will discuss how my girlhood influenced my understanding of the world and my activism thus far.
