SILMW provides a unique opportunity to explore the languages and cultures of the Muslim World while interacting with experts on the region. In addition to classroom instruction, SILMW offers a variety of co-curricular learning activities designed to enhance and enrich the language learning process, provide additional channels for language contact, and expose students to the traditions of the communities of the Muslim World.

This year we are very happy to again hold our special high school program, a 2-week intensive Elementary Arabic course for motivated high school students. The program will take place from June 11-24.

The course of study includes weekly activities, which are organized as follows:

- Mondays: cultural presentations

- Tuesdays: conversation tables

- Wednesdays: movie screenings

- Thursdays: cooking classes

- Fridays: miscellaneous workshops, field trips, picnics, or other activities.
