NASA observes our space environment daily with a fleet of space observatories, and in order to understand the Earth, we must comprehend it in the context of a larger universe. Every discovery we make about the distant universe, or the worlds, or our solar system, better informs our knowledge of our home planet. Three areas are at the heart of NASA’s comprehensive science program: Exploration, Innovation and Excellence. NASA Science Deputy Associate Administrator Dennis Andrucyk will explore these tenets and share how NASA leads on a civilization scale to enable new capabilities and address global challenges.
