The Chancellor’s recent call to action initiative to research and address systemic racism and social injustice affords an opportunity for the College of Education to showcase the research, scholarship, and public engagement of our faculty, graduate students, and alumni. Since graduate students in the College of Education are particularly well-primed to play important roles in this campus call to action, we want to provide a forum to have these conversations.
The Graduate Student Services Office, in conjunction with the Bureau of Educational Research, is delighted to announce a Social Justice and Diversity Forum that includes a monthly lecture series to discuss race, equity, and systemic racism. The first panel will be held October 15 from 4 – 5:00 p.m. CST.
