The moon is one of the many things we take for granted in the natural world. It lights up the night, rises and sets, goes through a cycle of phases, is involved in both solar and lunar eclipses, and contributes to the tides. In this talk, astronomer and author Neil F. Comins explores what Earth would be like if the moon had never formed.

Refreshments will be served prior to the event at 4:30 p.m.
