This webinar will focus on defining the concepts of equity, systemic equity, and racial equity with regard to career and technical education (CTE). It will also cover why understanding these concepts is important to the Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA) process and community colleges’ Perkins V local application for funding.
Additionally, the webinar hosts will provide recommendations on how community college leaders, colleagues, and other stakeholders can work to make sense of how and why equity and racial equity are critical to their local contexts.
