Plan to attend this workshop designed to help you get started on creating a competitive Schwarzman Scholarship application. We will provide writing strategies and allow time for you to begin developing your application.
The Schwarzman Scholarship Program is seeking qualified applicants from Illinois. The Schwarzman provides a year of study leading to a Master's degree in Global Affairs at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. All courses are taught in English. Seniors, graduate or professional students, and graduates under the age of 28 are eligible to apply. U.S. and non-U.S. citizens are eligible. Our application workshop is targeted to juniors, seniors, and graduate or professional students, and will provide a brief overview of the program and then focus on the application itself, explaining the different components and helping participants start penning ideas. This is a great opportunity to develop and get feedback on your ideas for your personal statement, leadership essay, and other written portions of the application. The required deadline for students holding passports from China, Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan is May 20, 2020, while the priority campus deadline for non-Chinese students is August 27, 2020.
