The third NCSA-NVIDIA AI Hackathon is co-organized by the Center for Artificial Intelligence Innovation, the Gravity Group, the Innovative Systems Lab, and NCSA Industry, and co-sponsored by NCSA and NVIDIA. The main goal of the hackathon is to let talented University of Illinois students, postdocs and staff showcase their skills in a friendly competition while working on challenging problems involving deep learning on a state-of-the-art compute platform designed for AI. This will be an intensive two-day experience culminating in the final presentation of results on Sunday afternoon. Students are encouraged to form teams of up to five students. NVIDIA will be awarding a Jetson Nano Development Kit to each member of the winning and runner-up teams.
To participate, we ask interested students and staff to sign up at https://forms.illinois.edu/sec/4857094 by Wednesday, March 4 and indicate which of the two projects they would like to work on. Students accepted to participate in the event will be notified on Thursday, March 5.
