Dr. Andrew Wilson, a teaching associate at the University of Illinois Laboratory High School, will introduce attendees to the potential uses of virtual reality in the humanities or social science classroom. We will explore two systems, the HTC Vive and Google Cardboard, in order to better understand a budget-conscious range of classroom applications. In addition to learning the basics of these two systems, attendees will also learn about Google Tour Creator, Tinkercad, and Google Earth VR and how they can be used to augment their classroom.
